That new Mystery Science Theater x Rifftrax episode was so... comfortable? It felt like more MST3K, where the Netflix and Gizmoplex seasons felt more New, if that makes sense. Jokes were a little more dorky, host segments felt more genuine and looked handmade. I would watch all of em in theater.

I think I found MST3K at a time when I needed a buddy, right as I was entering a new school in a new neighborhood. I love Rifftrax but there's something to be said for those silhouettes that makes it more cozy.
