I’ve been using my thumbs to type since my Blackberry in the 90s, switching to my first iPhone in ‘10. I play guitar and my finger dexterity is spot on. Something has changed, the code in predictive text or spell check is fucked up and making errors. It literally happened TWICE in this post.

When I typed “switching” and then typed the “t” for “to” the predictive system typed “it” as in “switching it” - the same with after “something” - I was typing “has” and after the “a” the system typed a “d” w/o me touching it. I’m not a loon - I literally saw it.

I get it. It’s a small fucking thing and it sounds fucking crazy. But I am not sure all of the spelling errors or typing the word “it” instead of “to” is all because of human error in our posts.
