Sometimes I wonder if something is wrong with my brain bc everyone I know praises the writing in 3h/fw but I’m sitting here and feeling like it’s torture. Ig bc I like having some things implied or left unsaid/open so I can input some creativity/imagination but these games don’t let me do that.

Like… everything feels so strict and restricted. There’s no room to be… whimsy? It’s all serious history and yada yada yada every 2 lines. It’s unnecessary bloat that gets in the way of emotions and character writing imo.

And it also leaves me feeling like the characters don’t feel like characters; they feel like webinars for topic the scene. Sure they have personalities but they’re told to you and not shown or expressed with nuance. Any nuance is shoved in your face with direct dialogue that doesn’t feel natural.
