@indiedivattv.bsky.social, the most heartbreaking thing about your story is how common it is. People living with disabilities are not being supported by our governments: they're being attacked, denied basic dignity and fundamental human rights, day in day out.

Carney cut a program that provided federal job opportunities to disabled people. Sections of government, with people who the private market won't provide opportunities to, employing people in full time jobs, cut aside so he can give more of our money to billionaires. It's horrific.

There is not a single province in Canada where social assistance even gets close to the poverty line. And the $200/month disability benefit (clawed back in places like AB) is an ugly insult to people with so much brilliance and wisdom to offer society. It's gross and upsetting and it's wrong.
