Public option is a good start, but the real solution is to either break up the big chains who have outsized power to set prices, or nationalize them outright. But I'm thrilled you've brought this to the public debate!

It's painful to know that with a Cons... Liberal majority it'll be 3 years before you have a chance to at least hold their feet to the coals about the people's material needs. At least you can shine a light on their corruption and lack of morals.

So where is the Weights & Measures department of the Conpetition Bureau. This is their jurisdiction? Are they doing anything? Swing bigger than algorithmic pricing next. Break up loblaws conpanies & other grocery oligarchs. Shouldnt a pattern of anti conpetitive nature lead to that?

I think broadly, more fundamental would be to break up corporate consolidation and vigorously enforce regulations & progressive taxation to ensure fair competition for even small, independent businesses.

Maybe also the entities that are in charge of investigating and finding these grocery companies whom get paid by our tax dollars actually find them appropriate amount to have them second-guess their decisions maybe actually taking a significant financial hit to one of these corporations

I love that you are on this. I was watching this video and came to tag you in it and was happy to find that you are on it! We really need a bigger budget for CBC marketplace and more government coordination to hold the scammy companies to account. Bigger fines for infractions of all kinds.
