We live in a society awash in wealth. Big banks and big oil pull in tens of billions while public needs go unmet. We need leaders willing to where the money is. A 1% tax on the wealthiest 1% could raise billions for strong, universal public services. #cdnpoli #ndp

It's time for a wealth tax, the gap between the ultra rich and the rest of us continues to grow. We need a government that supports the growth of the middleclass. Strong economies come from a strong middleclass, history shows this to be true.
