Terence Eden @edent.tel · 09/10/2026Argos are now selling plug in solar for £540. www.argos.co.uk/product/9593... Ground mounted, rather than balcony, and you get double nectar points 😄 4267
Ret @ret.furry.engineer.ap.brid.gy · 09/10/2026@edent.tel seems outrageously priced to me. A single Aiko Neostar 2S+ 465W panel is about £100. A single Fox ESS 600W microinverter is about the same again. That mount looks very basic, and some cheapo mass produced sundries.... Thing shouldn't cost more than £300. 110
Earth Notes @earthorguk.mastodon.energy.ap.brid.gy · 09/10/2026@edent.tel There is nominally a City Plumbing SKU under £400. No locally-held stock when I last looked. 000
Jon Knight @greenjimll.bsky.social · 09/10/2026Hmm, the specs on that site look a bit odd! 4V AC input, 230V AC output and 2V DC output? Doesn't inspire confidence in the product, especially at that price. 000
