It *is* time to pack Amazon in and order from other retailers. 👇 www.theguardian.com/media/2025/j...

I have found it has become quite crap recently, for Christmas I ended up ordering books from other places not for ideological reasons but because Amazon was expensive and had slow delivery. Also (TMI) I bought some underwear recently and Amazon was just unsearchable. Would have been fine I think

It horrifies me how universal buying from Amazon is to some people; I bought a couple of books from them when they were still an online bookshop, and shrunk away in terror as they took over everything, not buying from the since. The convenience does not outweigh the moral indiginity, for me.
