A torrential downpour with thunder and lightning broke around the elevation of the Host during the Canon and intensified shortly before the distribution of Holy Communion, forcing a temporary pause. This is like, unironically an omen. "If you continue down this path and this ceremony keeps going, you will have ruined the Body of Christ through your actions" is a hell of a forecast for the weather.
