Meals from 100% #vegan @mistaconespdx.bsky.social in #PDX are fabulous. Polo and Carlos serve up crave-worthy street food-style dishes from L.A. and Baja California and a celebration of their roots: Queer, Chicanx, Mexican, family, culture, and community. They provide meals to marginalized people.

The top left is the Nachos Asada, made with meaty house-made asada seitan with refried beans, garlic, chipotle, and jalapeño cashew cremas, pico de gallo, guacamole, pickled onions, and cotija crumbles on tortilla chips. The top right is a window of Mis Tacones painted by Paint Can Keith with a couple of Muppet characters holding a burrito. The bottom left shows the inside of Mis Tacones. The bottom right is La Chimi, which consists of meaty asada seitan, refried pinto beans, melted sunflower quesillo, arroz Mexicano, house-made garlic cashew crema, guacamole, and grilled bell peppers and onions wrapped up in a flour tortilla and deep fried.
