No institution should be able to move assets beyond survivors' reach and call it good governance. I've referred these Christian Brothers asset transfers to the AFP and ACNC for investigation. Survivors have waited long enough.

It's not just the culture of pedophilia among its priests and pastors that have induced throngs of Catholics leave the church. It's unrepentant cynical schemes like this that are preventing them from ever returning.
