Molly McGhee @mollymcghee.com · 08/09/2026Our last YA boom (heavily rooted in boxstores/American Malls/B&N Distro) probably began to take root in the late 90s before reaching its apex in the early 2010s. It's my opinion that we're in a YA bust currently—and whatever emerges next in the market will go on to redefine it. 110
