Two unlikely friends, a parrot mushroom and a tiny guy (Mycena maybe?), join together on a cold November day near the Puget Sound in Washington #mushroom #fungifriends #mushrooms #nature #naturephotography #photographersofbluesky #mushroomsofbluesky #gliophoruspsittacinus 🍄📷 📸🎞 🌿🌱 🟢 🍄 🍄‍🟫

A beautiful yellow and green parrot mushroom, along with a tiny pink-striped and pinkish-white-capped mushroom, stands together on cold, wet, cedar-duff-covered ground. The parrot mushroom has a shiny, smooth yellow stipe. The cap is very uniformly shaped and a beautiful combination of light and darker green. Its wet surface reflects the canopy of trees covering the overcast sky above. The tiny pink mushroom leans against the stipe of the parrot mushroom, its cap disturbing the thin layer of slime that coats the parrot mushroom.

How did you do the stacking here? linear rail / sliding plate or just by hand?

In-body bracketing with the R5. The merging of the photos is done by Helicon Focus, then I do some careful editing to fix stacking flaws and polish it.
