After SCOTUS gutted the VRA, the GOP is set to target 2-4 more Black Dems in AL and LA. They could add 1 each in MS and SC for 2-6 more targets in 2026. Dems are out of options for 2026 but could target up to 23 currently GOP-held seats by 2028. Click this link for details bsky.app/profile/step...

Colorado: 3
Illinois: 1
Maryland: 1
Minnesota: 2
New Jersey: 2
New York: 4
Oregon: 1
Virginia: 4
Washington: 2
Wisconsin: 2-3 (note, Wisconsin's Supreme Court could replace a pro-GOP map with a fairer one where 2-3 districts become much bluer, otherwise Democrats may be able to draw their own map to similar effect).

This is a big setback for fair House maps. VA Dems targeted 4 Rs in response to GOP gerrymanders—now they can only flip 2 seats on old map. The GOP has targeted 14 Ds—9 were VRA-protected, Black or Latino, or both. GOP will likely target more after SCOTUS nuked the VRA. Ds have targeted just 5 Rs

If they don't take the House and Senate in 2026, there won't be any elections in 2028.

If we don't take the House from the GOP, the rapist-fraud felon has enough MAGA lickspittles with Indiana to pull off what Pence refused to let through what they tried in 2020: Refuse to certify D states and seat a solid R royal court for himself.
