Easier to lean into anti-immigration than to actually solve our problems.
Give it a few years until we have far more restrictive immigration policy and housing/health crises just get worse.

Only 6% of voters cited immigration as their primary concern at the last general election. It was a non-issue until the government made it an issue. The top issues were housing, cost of living, and health. 3 areas where the government are making no progress. They need a scapegoat #spéirgorm

Housing was the number one issue for voters yesterday (according to the exit poll, at least)
28% of those polled said it was the main factor in why they voted.
