Just curious, how is one supposed to scan the QR code if they are seeing it on the same device? Wouldn’t a short URL be better? Or am I missing something 🤔

This is cool, one minor suggestion: move the butterfly up so it’s not covered up by the profile picture

You could also add an Italian translation, but that poses an interesting localization issue. 🧵

Awesome! 👏👏👏 @justinjackson.ca created the original banner, @chadtimbl.in modified it, and I'll take credit for coming up with the template idea 😄 bsky.app/profile/data...

Kevin Markham@dataschool.io

It would be cool if this was some sort of template that others could use… I would use it, if I didn’t have to figure out how to add in the right QR code!

Archived fry69 @fry69.altq.net · 30/11/2024

Shouldn't the image also include the Bluesky handle along with the QR code? I mean, if a (supposed) scanner on X, which reads and acts on a Bluesky handle inside an image, this scanner will surely be clever enough to decode QR codes (which might even be simpler).

FYI on iPhone 14 Pro, the Dynamic Island covers up some of the text ;(
