I remember hearing a lot more pop, rock and hard rock on FM93 (CJMF) and Énergie (CHIK) in the 80s and 90s. Pink Floyd? Metallica? Bon Jovi? Sure. Even smaller Canadian acts like Spirit of the West and Barenaked Ladies... but the cool kids listened to Francophone acts like Jean LeLoup.
