Why did Google Maps just start giving transit directions that includes driving a car to transit? Especially baffled by the one that has me drive one mile *within my neighborhood* to the train station???

Screenshot of top two Transit results from my location to Indiana dunes State Park. Both include a first step of driving to public transit and a last step of taking a lift from public transit

Screenshot of Google maps directions showing an instruction to "drive a car 24 minutes (8.1mi)" in order to get to the Chicago bus station downtown, and then to take a bus before ordering a rideshare vehicle for the final leg of the suggested trip

Screenshot of Google maps directions showing an instruction to "drive a car 7 minutes (1.2mi)" in order to get to the train station in the neighborhood

It’s been an option for a while, though often buried in option 3 for routes.
