Mayor of London, Sadiq Khan @london.gov.uk · 12/08/2026A decade ago, London had 90km of Cycleways. Today, that figure stands at 450km. More Londoners than ever are choosing to cycle, proof that investment in safer cycling infrastructure is making a real difference. 1637659

Catio Miles @catiomiles.bsky.social · 12/08/2026Amsterdam, a city 10 times smaller has 450 kilometres as well. 030
TheReeman @henreereeman.bsky.social · 13/08/2026PLEASE stop the self glaze and actually improve TfL owned roads like Euston Road for example, which needs a redesign immediately 😭. You've done decently but honestly the rate of progress is pretty poor compared to lots of European cities or even places like Manhattan and Minneapolis 010

Hugo H @hugoh59.bsky.social · 13/08/2026It has improved but a long way to go. We need more segregated cycle lanes, more joined up thinking London. Also worth looking at removing parked cars allowing cyclists to use one way st’s the wrong way and left turn on lights. 010
Fietser Steve @fietsersteve.bsky.social · 13/08/2026Some north-south routes in Newham would be a game changer, and would make up for the lack of effort over the Newham Greenway closure. 000
Paul Allen @marsflyerpaul.bsky.social · 13/08/2026When I started cycling in 2012 you had to be fast off the lights for safety reasons. Now with the cycleways and quiet roads, you can just amble along in normal clothes. There are many more people cycling as well. More to do, especially in the bad Boroughs, but Thank you. 030

Mr Blogberry @mr-blogberry.bsky.social · 12/08/2026I'll give you a C- for performance. In your own 2004 report you say you had 350km of cycle routes. So, 100km in 22 years isn't...err...great. Also, in 2009 I think you said your aim was 900km by 2025. So, C-... could do better. 061
