Absolutely. I was 10 in 1990, and by that point I'd already had plenty of exposure to nuclear and sci-fi horror from the '50s via Super Scary Saturday with Al Lewis, a lot of Hammer movies from numerous decades, plus tons of 1960's horror in general through TBS and TNT...

Yes, actually. I was 10 in the late 90s, which would put movies from the 1960's in the "30 years ago" category.
Whenever I'd visit my grandparents I'd raid their VHS collection, and watched all sorts of 1960s films that way.
