Nobody worry. I don’t have presents wrapped, but I do have the Preposterous Shelf of Dinosaurs sorted. Sorted? I’d say crammed. That “sorted” bit wasn’t particularly honest. Look at my twisted clump of deranged lizards and despair.

It’s a lot of Jurassic dinosaurs. I could name them, but any dinosaur discovered after 1970 would embarrass us both to watch how I’m going to try to spell it.

There’s a Brachiosaurus. She’s giant. Tyrannosaurus. Man, Jurassic Park really cemented this name T-Rex for this species forever, didn’t it? It’s also pretty incredible how Universal really jammed their foot right into the toy dinosaur world. They don’t own the concept of a dinosaur, but any non-Jurassic toy ends up feeling like a bootleg most of the time. Crazy branding, there.

Carnotaurus. I love that one. Dimetrodon. Not a true dinosaur! Something about their shoulders says nah, you’re just big-ass lizard with a fin. Pyroraptor is the red feathery lady. Indominus Rex is not a dinosaur at all. Blue! I love Blue. What a goofy “character” this monster is.

Earliest Hammonds are in a bin and this started out as monsters that wouldn’t fit in the bin because I have a problem.
