The nephew and I are baking apple pie(s) today. It reminded me of all the times I made pies with my grandma. I held back tears.

An apple pie in a round pie pan and an apple pie in a tiny casserole dish. They are unbaked and on a tinfoil-covered pan. They have lattice tops.

Here are the results! Kinda shocked nothing boiled over, but glad it didn’t.

Now the two pies are baked and on my countertop.
