Here it is, the most complex thing I've ever drawn and something I've wanted to draw for years: the apothecary! Also the art for the first (and background of the second?) page of Dune's prologue chapter. #art #dragon #dragons #clinkscales

A pink-and-white dragon with green feathered wings and strange, moth-antenna-like horns sits at her workbench. The bench, as well as the shelf behind her, are cluttered with candles, bottles, herbs, and the various other tools and reagents used in potionmaking. She herself is cluttered as well, draped with dozens of what appear to be tumbled gemstones. She holds a small fruit in her talons as she glances to her right, wings spread and mouth opened in greeting to the yellow dragon just now ducking in through the doorway.

This one is so great to look at. Lots of little details to see. Beautiful work! I love just staring at the scene and appreciating all the little bits. Maybe also fantasizing about being there. What that would be like.
