Falinere | Interactive RPG Creator @falinere.com · 17/12/2024Holy shit, taking all of the LGBTQ-related tags off my stream actually allowed me to get ad revenue. Wow. It actually makes a difference. You can literally see the line where I wasn't getting any revenue from ads, then where ad revenue shows up in every stream afterwards. 10164
Fern @fernmakesgames.com · 18/12/2024I didn't know about this but I removed the trans/queer/mommy/lgbtq tags a while ago because I felt like it was hurting the range of viewers I got. Lots of ppl assume the worst of queer folks for no reason. And my ad revenue has been way better 🤔 020

Nuthaus Games @handle.invalid · 18/12/2024Boy that’s…concerning. Did Twitch change something with their ad platform recently? 020
Crystal Sings @crystalsings.bsky.social · 18/12/2024Wow, this is really disappointing to know…I want other LGBTQIA2S+ people to find my streams… Twitch and advertisers are cowards. 120
Puke is already a Halloween Name @puke.bsky.social · 18/12/2024Thank you for the data, which I will ignore because the reality of that would be so depressing that I would need to go back to bed 🙏 110

bee 🍉 @queerbee.bsky.social · 18/12/2024I wonder if this impacts discovery in anyway too? like I like having those tags since I personally seek out other queer streamers via the tag system so I assume others do the same. like for me as someone without ads yet ig I can keep the tag for now but still sucks for the future 020
Falinere | Interactive RPG Creator @falinere.com · 18/12/2024Shoutout to @pennycentsless.com for pointing this out a while back which prompted me to test it myself. I hate that we know this. 140
