I can’t express how hard this tiny little scene was to paint because supercell colors do not look real, and my limited color set and inability to mix when using pens was all… interesting.

A smooth, flat pebble painted in acrylics with the scene of a yellow, green, blue, and orange supercell over a grassy plain.

The reference photo of the supercell painting, showing the range of colors. A yellow green field of grass is in the foreground, with orange sky behind the storm. A strong shelf of white, blue, and gray cloud sweeps across, plowing through yellowish upper cloud cover. The rain beneath the supercell is teal and black, concealing an unseen wedge tornado.
