This happened not too far from my hometown. If you don't mind me dropping some additional woke history that involves that same stretch of US Hwy 11, there were 3 teens who passed the same spot where Moore was killed when they set out on foot to participate in the March on Washington.

Yet another fact to consider for those willfully ignorant people who think America was sooooo much better back when.

Wow, this is inspiring. This is my conflict about fame: we are bombarded daily by the media with meaningless actions about people, yet here was a real person doing a heroic deed, and no one has heard of him. Eddie, you do a great job.😍

Eddie, I hate that we are moving back to this time. We should be well past these horrific days and there should be no current events anything like this. I long for the day that people can just accept one another as they are without thought. I know now it won’t happen in my lifetime and that’s sad 😞

Somehow I see myself in this , but I’m never gonna stop until everyone is free to be themselves. The only way to achieve this is to vote Blue. #ICEOUT

Good evening, Brother Eddie. Thank you for sharing William Moore’s story. I am also a Binghamton native, but had never heard of him before your post. Another courageous individual cut down by White supremacists while advocating for social justice. Respect. Rest in power, Bill. #KeepItWoke my friend.

Eddie - it's important for people to know that white people did the work of justice. Why? So they can learn now THEY can, too. I never knew of this man. I am grateful for the information. I am heartbroken at his loss.
