Ok, so I'm looking for a house, and every so often I get frustrated and search further afield & without my usual price limits. Yesterday, I found this place, which from the listing seems pretty normal. Weird decor choices, ugly kitchen, whatever. 1/2 www.rightmove.co.uk/properties/1...

But what's that in the corner of picture 2? So I go looking, and I find it listed on a photography locations website, including a full picture of what's in the corner of picture 2. What the actual? How on earth could a person live with this? It's listed, so you can't get rid of it. 2/2

A room, with velvet furniture, light cascading through large windows with built-in shutters, wood floors that look like they used to be painted, and what I can only describe as an incredibly racist fireplace. On either side, huge carved upper bodies hold up the ceiling. One is Black (and painted in the antique way so it looks fake), one is probably Native American (and looking distinctly yellow). Both are wearing some kind of feather headdress, beads on their upper arm, and have a full twelve-pack. In the middle, above the fireplace, there is what I hope is a carved skull, an enormous vase with feathers coming out the top, a sword and a long wooden stock gun, a bible with a huge cross on it, and a whole assortment of weapons, including rope, a shovel, and a bunch of weird machete or other edged weapons. It's a lot.
