Welp, the new Hurricane vid was incredibly motivating in terms of working on tools and such, but it turns out some AI thing was also credited. Very disappointing given nothing stands out as AI generated and real artists were involved in it too. Yet another thing ruined by Al, I guess. I'm so done. 😪

So it was motivating, presumably good, had real artists working on it, but it's ruined because those real artists (presumably) used an AI tool and so expertly integrated it into their art that you couldn't even tell? In a world where AI tools exist, isn't that exactly how you'd want things to work?

I'd say anything that outsources the creative process, even if done by artists, is bad. Just because it hypothetically integrates well, that doesn't make it better. Same can be applied to experienced programmers vibecoding. Granted, I'm holding out hope it was just used for stock, but who knows.
