I saw this post & I'm desperately sorry that this student is having to go through this. I'm sharing bc it drives me up the wall when I see comments like 'Why don't people paint like this <renaissance style fine art & etc> anymore? Where are they?' They're everywhere, but they aren't getting funded.

I was forced to carry all my oil paintings copies back home on my little electric bike, and this is how my tiny muddy apartment walls look like right now.' There are 4 photos of many incredibly done fine arts paintings being held in hand and hung on walls.

Arts are severely undervalued & underfunded, especially today. Art programs across nations are getting axed, leaving artists with fewer options to pursue a formal education. Income opportunities for artists are severely dwindling. We are collectively getting robbed of any and all creative expression

All that to say, if there's an artist's whose works you love, SUPPORT THEM!! It's genuinely so many people's lifeline!! If you can't afford to buy or donate, make sure to like/share their posts. Recommend them to a friend, family member or coworker. That can actually make the world of difference🫶
