Love Toby's work but this is an extremely bad take.
Not only it disrespects the work of translators, it's weirdly arrogant in a way I didn't expect of him. Dunno when & why he learned Japanese, but it seems like the opinion of an EN/JP speaker who never struggled with language barriers :/
