BTW, the amazing @thevideogamelibrary.org has a curation of books on video games from a more global perspective, it's worth a look: www.thevideogamelibrary.org/blog/hashtag... Curious about games in India & South Asia? There's a book called "Videogames in the Indian Subcontinent", and much more! :)

I loved your article! Several scholars have been pushing for more regional, balanced game studies for some time now. It's what we're trying to do with Europe with these two little books :) www.aup.nl/en/book/9789... shangrilaediciones.com/producto/fra...

Is there a way to let them know about interesting books they might've missed? lubimyczytac.pl/ksiazka/2551... is a decent look at the history of the struggling Polish video game industry throughout the 1990s and 2000s, that is before CD Projekt Red became a globally notable publisher.

As a scholar of games in the global south I'm super-excited about all the discussion your recent article has generated! ❤️ And at the same time I see comments from people who don't know research on this subject even exists. This shoutout is 🔥🔥🔥 Souvik, Luis and others have been at it for a minute!

Heya, my focus is currently global electromechanical/mechanical arcade history. Do you know if any of these go back that far? I go into Uk, France, Germany, Japan, Finland, Netherlands, Italy, Spain, Australia/NZ (and always want more of all of those) but I'm super curious for EM games elsewhere.
