Tye Gregory called an Iranian-American candidate for district attorney an “Iranian asset" and has much stronger words for Jewish anti-Zionists than for Elon Musk following his Nazi salute, saying, “Well, it certainly looked bad. I can't speculate as to what his intent was.”

This isn’t antisemitic. This is legitimate criticism of a former Israel lobbyist.

AIPAC & other Israel lobbyists—by definition, they’re *lobbyists*—spend billions to influence the gov. Having an AIPAC veteran in a top position at the DA’s office is a HUGE problem.

SFJCRC also would not condemn the presence of Pastor John Hagee from CUFI at the March for Israel, despite his history of antisemitic comments, including saying that “Hitler was sent by God.” This screenshot is from an email reply to questions I posed about their participation in the march.

Thank you for your patience. We have been overwhelmed and this got lost in the blizzard. Briefly, we were not involved in organizing the march or getting speakers, so some of your questions are much better directed to Jewish Federations of North America or others (hopefully you’ve reach out to them as well). Nor can I speak to the content of any particular sign at the event, but we support a two-state solution and the right to national self-determination for both Palestinians and Israelis, and through our Invest in Peace initiative, we have actively promoted the coexistence organization working for a future of peace and prosperity for both societies. Of course, we also believe that Israel has the right to defend its citizens from violent attack.
