So here's my next 6 weeks. Obviously still can't drive, whereas with the left ankle I could now drive. I have one less bit of metal this time, but the screws are the same. Very happy with progress! 😁

4 Weeks in boot (Weeks 6-10)
Sleep out of boot Shower out of boot Seated calf raises out of boot, wearing boot at other times
Week 1: 10 - 20% body weight only in boot
Week 2: 50% Bodyweight using crutches as support in boot
Week 3 & 4: Full Bodyweight in boot -
Weeks 5 & 6: Wear shoes/Joggers and walk

During our own moon boot (aka air cast) misadventures over the years, hospital staff were very clear that it's illegal to drive with a cast on EITHER foot, regardless whether it's an automatic transmission and one COULD drive. Province of Ontario, Canada.
