LeftieEthnieRocks @ethnierocks.bsky.social · 25/01/2026Absolutely! That’s the tragedy that the people don’t recognise - & what’s bought the pedo prez 🦧👑 to its throne! But it’s not their fault & put blame the democrats tho never as much as the disgusting ‘religious’ republicans who’ve sold their souls to further their own ambitions😡 Fab pic too 👍🏼 010 1
Ms. Alex @xelamercedes.bsky.social · 25/01/2026I disagree. Armed, masked men weren't in the streets grabbing people of all ages & skin colors with full approval and encouragement by the federal government. White supremacist and oligarchic ideology has always existed but the manifestations have changed over time. 13602 60
aekellner 🔭 @aekellner.bsky.social · 26/01/2026I tend to agree. America has always been a racist country and still is. The Republican Party of today has always been in the DNA of the party in the past. They repressed it to an extent but it popped up now and then. Once thought to be a bug, it is now a feature. 000 0
Sam The Butcher @sam-the-butcher.bsky.social · 25/01/2026So true. I once thought we were making progress but I was fool. 150 5
Vi Nic @gypsie.bsky.social · 25/01/2026The US always had those aspects, but no, it wasn’t this. Like that parable about two wolves in us. What made this extreme possible is the use of unregulated social networks to amplify anything they want. And domestic and foreign authoritarians used it to feed that ugly wolf. It is roaring unchecked. 010 1

baja-hacker.bsky.social @baja-hacker.bsky.social · 25/01/2026The one good thing to come from the Trump era, is we can no longer ignore the blatant festering racism in our country. 010 1

DJ Loriee @djloriee.bsky.social · 26/01/2026Was just thinking this when I was watching film about James Baldwin on TCM which contained footage of the vicious attacks on civil rights movement protesters from both civilians and law enforcement. We have a very scarred history that we must atone for, the way Germany tries to do to this day. 020 2
zuzu447.bsky.social @zuzu447.bsky.social · 02/02/2026“They” were always here but were mostly silent or limited because they were prohibited by social norms from proclaiming or acting on their hate. Trump has eliminated these norms and given the basest among us the freedom to exercise their worst instincts. The inmates are running the asylum. 000 0
Mommy 8647 @kmcollado.bsky.social · 25/01/2026I grew up in the 60’s and 70’s. Some whites just don’t grow and learn. I lived in NC and I have never felt so hated for being a woman, a catholic and a yankee. Oh yeah my partner was a naturalized citizen which means he waited five years to apply for citizenship. 020 2
pjhrose.bsky.social @pjhrose.bsky.social · 25/01/2026Fuck that post. America has always been imperfect but before the Supreme Court allowed Citizens United to become law and billionaires were allowed to outvote (by throwing millions of $ to their candidates). To get back to imperfect, not corrupt, Citizens United MUST be overturned. 030 3
