My requests for Right of Annulment, have repeatedly been Ignored. The right to delete posts (GitHub & Lemmy). The right to delete a video game from your game account, & not just uninstall it. The right to delete your account & return to it one day, Username & all. #Account #DigitalRights #Delete

So I emailed EFF (Electronic Frontier Foundation)
I got a little emotional when writing this on MC, this isn't the email I sent to EFF.

"Today my Fallout 4 Anniversary Edition game crashed, frustrated me to the point of wanting to delete it right off my Steam account! Now the easiest solution I was given would be to simply delete my Steam account, unfortunately Steam holds Usernames, to delete my account I lose my name, as that is what I use for all accounts my name! You MC even gave me ideas for alternative paths that ain't so permanent as Usernames, there are other options options sites like Steam won't even humor. Then there are complaints for digital rights as well a deletion option for Github and not just deletion history, a deletion option for Lemmy so one doesn't have to track down an admin. Then of course we circle back to the very option of deleting a game off of notches steam not just for me but for others who are forced to make accounts to play their games Steam, GOG, Xbox, Playstation, I want the Right of Annulment! The right to delete one's history! Yes I paid for the game and yes its in my bank history, but one day I shall die and my bank history annulled, I speak not just as a Canadian but as someone who wants just a simple thing to delete my history be it in games and or accounts, not just for me but for everyone!..... That's the email I want to send them, A group dedicated to Digital rights ooo I have plenty! Please help me, help us all."
