Zyly! 🧡💛 @zylythefox.bsky.social · 18/09/2026What has your experience in the fandom been like? You can watch my video here! 💜🖤🩶🤍 www.youtube.com/watch?v=3c_t...youtube.comHow is it Like to be an Asexual Furry?YouTube video by Zyly The Fox 030 0
Zyly! 🧡💛 @zylythefox.bsky.social · 18/09/2026At the end of the day, being an asexual furry is... just normal. I made a full video talking about this topic, answering common questions, and sharing some of my own experiences as an asexual furry, which you can watch below! I hope you like it. Shares will be much appreciated! 130 0
Zyly! 🧡💛 @zylythefox.bsky.social · 18/09/2026Sometimes the feeling of being "different" comes from assumptions we make about other furries. It's easy to look around and think that "everyone here is interested in things that I'm not." Usually, reality is far more diverse than that. The key word is DIVERSITY and RESPECT! 120 0
Zyly! 🧡💛 @zylythefox.bsky.social · 18/09/2026Another misconception is that being asexual somehow makes you "a weird furry." It doesn't. The furry fandom isn't built around sexuality alone. It's built around creativity and self-expression. We can fall in love. And yes, WE CAN and do engage in intimacy with our partners☝️🦊 120 0
Zyly! 🧡💛 @zylythefox.bsky.social · 18/09/2026One big misconceptions is that asexual furries must feel uncomfortable in the fandom since some furry spaces are openly adult-oriented. In my experience, that's not really true. Most asexual furries aren't shocked by the existence of NSFW content, we don't really mind whatsoever! 130 0
Zyly! 🧡💛 @zylythefox.bsky.social · 18/09/2026Being asexual doesn't come with a handbook. Just like any other orientation, every asexual person experiences it differently. There isn't one "correct" way to be ace, and there certainly isn't one "correct" way to be a furry either. Understanding and talking is key at this point! 120 0
Zyly! 🧡💛 @zylythefox.bsky.social · 18/09/2026FURRY AND ASEXUAL? Yeah, weird combo... (not really) As an asexual furry, I've noticed that many people assume the furry fandom must be a strange place for "someone like me" so I decided to break it up on a video, because reality... is much less dramatic than most people think! 1121 0

Zyly! 🧡💛 @zylythefox.bsky.social · 11/09/2026I cover this issue in particular in my latest video! Would you like to check it out? Link's below. I'd appreciate it if you shared it and let me know what your thoughts are on this matter! :) www.youtube.com/watch?v=tp9t...youtube.comThe Problem of Content Harassers in Furry ConventionsYouTube video by Zyly The Fox 031 0
Zyly! 🧡💛 @zylythefox.bsky.social · 11/09/2026How can conventions deal with this issue? At first, banning non-furries altogether seems like a quick solution, but that is quite unfair for genuine curious explorers. Content creator badges? That's a possible solution. But there's one certainty. This can't go on. 110 0
Zyly! 🧡💛 @zylythefox.bsky.social · 11/09/2026These "harassers" generally don't notice how harmful they can be. Fursuits get hot, they reduce our mobility, and cause us "heat stress". However, we enjoy it, and we love it; and taking advantage of our convention spaces to annoy us to the point of fuming is not okay. 110 0
Zyly! 🧡💛 @zylythefox.bsky.social · 11/09/2026A content harasser is an "influencer" who finds a space in our furry conventions to capitalize on our discomfort. A furry convention is a very special place for us. They are hard earned spaces where we can all be ourselved, but they have been threatened by these individuals. 110 0
Zyly! 🧡💛 @zylythefox.bsky.social · 11/09/2026The problem of "content harassers" in furry conventions... A few days ago you probably saw a clip of a person ripping off a suiter's tail for the fun of it, and posted it online to mock us furries online. That type of behavior makes up what "a content harasser" for us is. 161 0
Zyly! 🧡💛 @zylythefox.bsky.social · 03/09/2026The rest... it's just a funny anecdote which I'd love you all to watch... I genuinely thought it was ONE SINGLE PERSON doing all of that LOL www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZP4x...youtube.comAlmost Banned From a Furry Convention Over a Clothespin!YouTube video by Zyly The Fox 010 0
Zyly! 🧡💛 @zylythefox.bsky.social · 03/09/2026When I saw the the very first peg, I got a little annoyed, but upon seeing my tail FULL of them, I went completely nuts. My silly brain couldn't snap two ideas together, and the "joke" behind it was so far from the picture that I simply reported the issue... 110 0
Zyly! 🧡💛 @zylythefox.bsky.social · 03/09/2026So, you are probably familiar with those "Dos" and "Don'ts" social media posts we all share before attending a convention, right? Particularly, I included a VERY IMPORTANT point which was "don't touch my fursuit". If you're not pelele (lol) you can connect the dots... 120 0
Zyly! 🧡💛 @zylythefox.bsky.social · 03/09/2026The "game" consists on approaching a fursuiter, try to interact with, maybe hug them, ONLY TO attach one of those clothespins with a funny inscription on them. The meaning of this is... purely family friendly fun... but some people, like me... can take longer to understand! 😆 110 0
Zyly! 🧡💛 @zylythefox.bsky.social · 03/09/2026These "wooden fleas" almost made me get someone banned at a furry convention... BY MISTAKE! Apparently this year, a person started attaching clothespins to fursuits around Anthrocon with the tags "flea" & "tick", and from then onwards it blew up! I had to make a video about it! 1110 0

Zyly! 🧡💛 @zylythefox.bsky.social · 28/08/2026What does fursuiting mean to you? Because for me it represents the freedom of choosing to be someone I like, without the pressure of the outside world. That’s my new video’s thesis! I’d appreciate you sharing it if you like it 🧡 youtu.be/v697DkBu_Bw?...youtu.beFursuiting Makes No Sense!YouTube video by Zyly The Fox 020 0
Zyly! 🧡💛 @zylythefox.bsky.social · 28/08/2026So… does fursuiting make sense? For the outside world it might not, but that’s where “the outside world is wrong”. We tend to understand “identity” as a personal endeavor, and we ignore the community behind it. Fursuiting is social, and as such, it makes sense to the group! 150 0
Zyly! 🧡💛 @zylythefox.bsky.social · 28/08/2026This shift of perspective helps us see that fursuiting combines performance, but at the same time artistic expression, and identity; we bring into the physical world a creation WE CAN CONTROL, and which makes us feel safe in a world where reality tends to be a little bleak. 100 0
Zyly! 🧡💛 @zylythefox.bsky.social · 28/08/2026Fursonas are core to the meaning behind fursuits. They are the means through which we find self expression and give shape to a version of ourselves that we feel comfortable with. Don’t you think multiple fursonas say something about how we feel? Food for thought! 110 0
Zyly! 🧡💛 @zylythefox.bsky.social · 28/08/2026It wasn’t until the 90s and early 2000s that the furry fandom became a house to a group which didn’t quite “fit” in the social norms that governed the world, and found refuge and IDENTITY in an anthropomorphic character; that’s the beginning of what nowadays we call fursonas! 100 0
Zyly! 🧡💛 @zylythefox.bsky.social · 28/08/2026In order to understand why this is so important for furries, we need to understand its history. Back in the day, fursuiting was NOT central to the fandom. It mainly was all artistic, and fursuiting only worked as mascoting does nowadays; an external character to the wearer. 110 0
Zyly! 🧡💛 @zylythefox.bsky.social · 28/08/2026I mean, at first glance and by this sole idea, yeah… fursuiting makes absolutely no sense. It’s hot, expensive too, and to some extent it’s uncomfortable! As such, from the outside, it can seem completely irrational. Yet, somehow, a whole fandom enjoys its playful nature. 100 0
Zyly! 🧡💛 @zylythefox.bsky.social · 28/08/2026I must admit that I was one of those people who would say that fursuiting had “an illogical nature” as in WHY WOULD SOMEONE WANT TO WALK UNDER A HEAVY COAT UNDERNEATH THE SUN… especially during summer… and then, after some time, it dawned on me! 100 0
Zyly! 🧡💛 @zylythefox.bsky.social · 28/08/2026FURSUITING MAKES NO SENSE AT ALL… It’s a common phrase I hear when we try to explain what getting into a fursuit is to a random stranger, and that’s key… because they lack the core ESSENCE of what it means. Let’s talk about it! 270 0
