Sitting outside a medical building, there's a car that keeps starting and stopping without moving, and I really want to ask if it's a problem with the car or the person inside. (It's a beautiful day. The sun is shining, the temperature is good, much nicer out here than in a waiting room.)

Decided to sit outside because it's October and Ohio and I don't know how many more days this will be an option, and wow is it loud. Cicadas and water, groovy. Tornado sirens? Fine, it's just a test. Trains, lawn equipment, unnecessarily loud vehicles. Kinda want to go in and take a nap.

Got the annual vaccines last night, so expect today to be full of naps and knitting. Arms sore. Keep forgetting to mention that we have (what looks to me to be) a funnel web spider hanging out in our window. I haven't tried to get better photos because I don't want to scare our new tenant away.

Finished a scarfy thing! Yarn from @thegeorg.bsky.social Have finished three of five patterns from this e-book in hotel rooms with my sister. Pattern is Triangulate by Jennifer Dassau.

Handknitted triangular scarfy thing. Triangle in the middle shows off variegated yarn in vertical lines, wide bottom edging is more horizontal (while being the bottom two sides of a triangle.) Yarn is dark and light grey and red. Colorway is named Diet Coke, and it fits.
