Everyone tries so hard and their stuff is so great, and I know comparison is the thief of joy but it starts to feel like. Am I just not trying hard enough, am I lazy? Or is there something like fundamentally wrong with me? Anyway, that's all. Sorry, sometimes I feel like all I do is complain

I just dislike that almost every time I sit down to draw I get sucked down into a negative headspace about how like, dumb and bad at everything I am. Whether true or not, I dunno

Next year will be ten years since I started trying to learn how to draw. I'm definitely better than I was, but I still feel so so bad at it, and it really starts to eat at me whenever I'm actually trying to draw. It's frustrating and I wish I could at least enjoy the activity more... Sorry to vent
