Today is the second day of the Cambridge Social Venture weekend I’m taking part of, and I’m incredibly grateful to be among such amazing people 🥺. When we are surrounded by so much evil in the world, spending time with people whose life is spent addressing social issues is refreshing.

I'm proud to manage my personal website's server myself. I learn a lot as I do the most basic things that always end up breaking some server config somewhere 😅. Fun times! Today I learned how to put up a maintenance page 🎉.

If I ever think that running is stupid and why am I even doing this to myself, at least I know I'm not the only one 😃. The New York City marathon ballot went live 8 minutes ago, and there is already a queue - my current waiting time is over 1 hour. Lots of similarly crazy people out there. Love it!

Look what I got yesterday. My very own Pomodoro sand timer! And it’s super cute too, can’t wait to be staring at the timer for 30 mins rather than at my screen 😂. No, no, I will use it for 30 minutes of focused work. Yes, I will!

December 1st. This year has been such a rollercoaster, I can’t believe it’s almost over. It feels like I lived through multiple story lines in the past 11 months. And here I am, today, still discovering what I want to do when I grow up. One thing is clear, I’ve grown really attached to Cambridge.

As a self-proclaimed woman of letters, I just added another interest to my list 😅. Today I accidentally attended a talk about Making Maps: Drawing Human Paths Through the World by @saracaputo.bsky.social and it was fascinating! Who knew maps could be so fun. I may have bought Sara’s book already 😃.

I was going to ceremonially announce my brand new website but then I noticed the dark mode needs some work 😅. Anyway, my website now runs on Laravel, and while the front end is simple (for now), I’m very proud of my custom built admin panel. Also, I’m starting a newsletter! So many new things 😱😃.
