When criticism becomes so normalized that a genuine compliment makes you cautious

Zuki 🕸️⭐ @zukinie.bsky.social · 12/09/2026

One of the most naive decisions you'll ever make, so confident you could take it out in one hit after building up strength, convincing yourself that missing those upgraded dodges would still be fine… only to get instantly killed and sent straight back to the Hunter's Dream.

That 2019 project sleeping through time finally woke up. Tough call to redraw everything...

Got forced onto a heartbeat monitor that interrupted me mid-fight… and the reading was way too high it had me laughing. Completely forgot about the fight for a second lol

That gentle face literally kills me in every universe. (And I won't deny that Shizuka Ito's voice has me in such a chokehold.)...

My beloved Madoka movie hitting nearly 1 billion yen in just 3 days… so well deserved!!! 🎉🥹

"What's wrong?" Stelle paused. Just pressed closer, arms finding their way around Kafka's waist like they already knew where to go. "Can we stay like this... a little?" A long exhale. Then Kafka's hand settled over hers. Warm. Unhurried. "Of course. As long as you want."

Great to get some updates at the end of the month!

Zuki 🕸️⭐ @zukinie.bsky.social · 28/08/2026

Read Adabana two weeks ago at completely the wrong time… Still living rent free in my head...

Zuki 🕸️⭐ @zukinie.bsky.social · 26/08/2026

SW n Stelle are like two gaming partners who just perfectly in sync. I keep wanting to draw SW gaming alone, missing those days with her. And Blade fumbling through learning just to keep SW company, somehow still manages to bring some comfort...

Zuki 🕸️⭐ @zukinie.bsky.social · 17/08/2026

Don't remember where I saw it, but someone randomly drew kafstel with Spider-Man BND scene 'I love you / I dont love you, I dont even know you.' It was supposed to just be a meme... to be funny.... yeah... funny... 🥲

Zuki 🕸️⭐ @zukinie.bsky.social · 23/07/2026

Will try my best to update next week… barely finding time to get online lately...

Zuki 🕸️⭐ @zukinie.bsky.social · 22/07/2026

Go figure~ Never missed a day drawing kafstel. Still miss them every day

Spending my little free time with Earthborne Rangers for some healing at the end of the day

Zuki 🕸️⭐ @zukinie.bsky.social · 21/07/2026

New one-shot ideas just showed up uninvited. If I'm counting right, this would be my third

Zuki 🕸️⭐ @zukinie.bsky.social · 20/07/2026

Even if we've found our favorite brushes, let's try out new ones once in a while might just surprise and spark something new.

Zuki 🕸️⭐ @zukinie.bsky.social · 20/07/2026

Finally done composing the poses. Small win but I'll take it

Zuki 🕸️⭐ @zukinie.bsky.social · 15/07/2026

Organ Sensei's upcoming release is incredible… 250 pages of adult content drawn continuously over 3 years. Literally no words!!! 🥹

Zuki 🕸️⭐ @zukinie.bsky.social · 15/07/2026

My drawing time has been gradually decreasing… still trying my best to keep it up.....!

Zuki 🕸️⭐ @zukinie.bsky.social · 12/07/2026

Sir, why are you violating your own terms and conditions? 🙃

Zuki 🕸️⭐ @zukinie.bsky.social · 10/07/2026

Spent hours day after day just wrestling with clothing folds that convey muscle movement underneath and it's killing me...

Not really looking to get one, but my thoughts on large drawing tablets have changed lately. The surface size hits different when you actually see how professionals use it and how crazy it speeds up the workflow

I know that is just a hypothetical, a speculative future conflicting with past memories, conjuring an illusion that drives emotions to their peak just to trigger a power release. One story beat. And yet!?

Spent ALL this time drawing them as honestly as possible, pessimism and all. Finally decided to switch things up and draw something cheerful. Then the game company said hold on bestie and dropped a trailer "Let's start the suffering"

From 2024, after all… You know where they will be headed, real or not, and brace yourself from the very beginning. But when that moment finally arrives and becomes real, it still overflows. Every time...

Zuki 🕸️⭐ @zukinie.bsky.social · 26/06/2026

8 bust-up poses of Stelle ahead of me…

Zuki 🕸️⭐ @zukinie.bsky.social · 24/06/2026

I think we need to sit down and imagine Kafka kissing Stelle's wrist for a second. Just that...! The gentleness of it, the intent behind it, you will not recover! I promise you that!!!!

Zuki 🕸️⭐ @zukinie.bsky.social · 23/06/2026

Yes! One-shots and their audacity to just... casually be masterpieces!!!

Zuki 🕸️⭐ @zukinie.bsky.social · 21/06/2026

So nice seeing my favorite artists open up sales for physical compilation books again!

Zuki 🕸️⭐ @zukinie.bsky.social · 21/06/2026

Is 40 pages even enough for an r18 fanbook...? We definitely missed the foreplay somewhere...

Zuki 🕸️⭐ @zukinie.bsky.social · 17/06/2026

Why did I even set up the camera angle to make them look like they're leaning on each other?

Zuki 🕸️⭐ @zukinie.bsky.social · 17/06/2026

Daily shadowing practice has become this weird comfort... somehow it's the only thing that makes the hard stuff fade for a bit.

Choosing and installing mods is like shopping and adding items to your cart but never actually get charged

Zuki 🕸️⭐ @zukinie.bsky.social · 16/06/2026

"Even now that we wake up, we are still dreaming" Tsukuyomi's "From New World" lyrics just hit different... so much that I dropped my pen mid-stroke while drawing kafstel that exact moment...

Zuki 🕸️⭐ @zukinie.bsky.social · 16/06/2026

Gonna try my best to get the update out this weekend!

Zuki 🕸️⭐ @zukinie.bsky.social · 16/06/2026

El always calls Byleth "Professor" in the EN voice lines, formal and proper. But in JP, addressing "Sensei" comes out, almost spoiled... like she's fishing for praise after trying her best lol

Zuki 🕸️⭐ @zukinie.bsky.social · 15/06/2026

Really miHoYo? Really? 🥹 I just want to stack them up

Zuki 🕸️⭐ @zukinie.bsky.social · 14/06/2026

There are two sides of me when it comes to my OTPs: one couple has so many beautiful things about them that I can't stop drawing. And the other carries so much meaning that I don't feel skilled enough to do them justice

Zuki 🕸️⭐ @zukinie.bsky.social · 13/06/2026

Let's normalize fluctuating daily progress. Some days it's 6 frames in 40 minutes, other days just 3 frames in 2 hours. Not missing a single day is what counts.

Zuki 🕸️⭐ @zukinie.bsky.social · 12/06/2026

Thinking about how Nemesis Retaliation arrives in three weeks… maybe after getting through at least three quarters of the content I'll have a better idea whether to keep or pass on Lands of Evershade.

Zuki 🕸️⭐ @zukinie.bsky.social · 12/06/2026

Read Ashton's detailed review of Lands of Evershade… didn't expect to be this intrigued

Zuki 🕸️⭐ @zukinie.bsky.social · 12/06/2026

Took up a whole day to finally get around to cloud syncing all my kafstel files… awkward to admit but seeing how different the old works look compared to the current ones hit me really hard... 🥹

Doesn't matter how many bgames you've played, how big your collection is, how deep your wallet went, or how many years you've put in… At some point I think burnout catches up to everyone, fully or just for a while...
