I "translated" the fictional language of the Stories 3 world map to get an English version of the labels we weren't told in-game, as well as most of the fictional alphabet. More details here: www.reddit.com/r/MonsterHun...

Sometimes you think your game resolution changed, but really your eyes are just blurry because it's 3 in the morning

I started this build around summer last year, before they announced Gogmazios was returning to Wilds, and it turned out to be the most difficult project I’ve ever embarked on. The largest LEGO Monster model I’ve ever built.

For anyone wondering how my life is going... I'm currently reverse engineering the interior design of the Casita from Encanto so I can create a toy version at a specific scale. Well. It's going well.

We're very proud of these new products, so please take a look! I think we've learned a lot since our first release.

Hopefully this adds some useful context to community conversations! I know there are common sentiments about Wilds... But please also consider the success of the marketing! More info in reply...

If anyone is or knows a graphic designer open to freelance work, ideally within the MH community, please shoot me a message. Looking for someone to do layouts on printed documents, basic image editing, etc.

The modern world is too full of accessible entertainment options for me to understand anyone who spends time and energy angry about one of them. Why not spend those resources on something you would enjoy instead?

Stories 3 is the most original MH plot yet. The catastrophe was 200 years ago instead of 100.

There are other reasons I enjoy rap, but all my favorite rappers have a vibe I can best describe as "spiteful success". It makes their music into pure, motivational fuel for anything I try to do

Pre-ordering monster hunter finger puppets from Japan so that I can (hopefully) convert them to be compatible with a particular brand of kid's toy that my daughter enjoys (and I may or may not be obsessively documenting). Yup, that's me.

I went through the history and it's been almost a year since we first cooked up this idea. Most of that time has been heads down, testing and iterating to make sure that we could make something worthwhile. I'm so excited to finally be able to share it with everyone!!

A conveniently repostable PSA full of receipts on RathalosWatch in 4k. A far cry from my usual posts, but I hope it serves the community well. Now, back to work.

Online communities are bubbles that aren't representative of product audiences. This dissonance is proven by the popularity and commercial success of things the communities will tell you are horrible.

And so, here it is: The Full World Map of Monster Hunter, as drawn and reconstructed by me. Anything with a red star, as well as the New World and Eastland locations, are based on speculation.

The patch notes are so extensive. It isn't talk when Tokuda says they're continuing to iterate and improve the game systems, and the video barely scratched the surface of the world they did since the last update. This is dedication and passion for their creation.

Adding a low-key "15th weapon" via collab armor is actually clever as hell. You get to dodge all of the community expectations around it coming back in future titles or being as complex as the other weapons, while still adding gameplay variety for those who yearn for it.

Random fact: I love card games, especially digital ones. Having to play and improve around randomness, plus the two layers of strategy in deckbuilding + in-match decision making, is crack for my brain. I started with Hearthstone and briefly wrote articles and coached for $.

Slayed my first Monoblos today in MH1. Really into the flow of this game now, bouncing back and forth between village and town. Only HR7 though... The road to Fatalis is long.

About 3 hours before AT Rey Dau dropped, a thunderstorm with hurricane force (~80mph) winds ripped through Pittsburgh, US. 300k people lost power, 150k+ still without. Trees down all around, including a couple on my neighbor's house. Not looking forward to AT Uth Duna's arrival.

I enjoy picking apart words. Sometimes people will accidentally phrase something in a really unusual way and it'll make me giddy. If I point it out, I'm not making fun of you, I'm genuinely gleeful and a weirdo. Hopefully everyone in the world reads this post.

Two Dalamadur die in the rotten vale and it becomes the heart of the new world (or it already was?). A Dalamadur dies in the eastlands and it becomes the wounded hollow and grand hub, sacred places for the Wyverians of Suja. Most curious.
