www.whatplatform.co.uk/service/C150… What is this madness? It can’t possibly be accurate. Just use Real Time Trains or Open Train Times.
A screen shot of a whatplatform.co.uk page showing it doesn’t know what platform trains are leaving from this single platform station.

Finally figured out how to upload a picture. (It seems there is a file size limit there didn't use to be?) The Firth of Clyde yesterday looking upriver past Dumbarton Rock. I would post it as #silentSunday but the wind was anything but, so possibly also #scottishSummer ?
A view upriver at Levengrove Park in Dumbarton, Scotland. To the left is the seawall and promenade, with Dumbarton Rock behind. To the right is the River Clyde looking a bit choppy, distant Renfrewshire and Inverclyde, and a good smattering of fair-weather cumulus in a strikingly blue sky.

Again? I couldn’t load the story so this may have been a cockup.
An iOS app notification that reads: “New Scientist: Possible signs of ancient life have been found on Mars.”

Not content with running West Highland trains through Queen Street twice, ScotRail run a half-hourly service to Helensburgh. Except now, when one train is inexplicably omitted from the time table. What is going on?
An extract from the north Clyde electrics timetable showing a huge gap in Helensburgh arrivals between 9 and 10.

Whut?
A google search for the devils pulpit (a waterfall near Glasgow) showing, er, a picture of New College in Edinburgh. Where the Church of Scotland have their Assembly. Oops.

Strong “this is fine” energy on the bbc news website this afternoon.
Screen cap of the bbc news web site. Kier Starmer looking a bit awkward is juxtaposed with a picture of a massive explosion.

Didn’t have time to go that far but I’m glad we went. Wind chill was a bit much though!
Returning along the Yankee Road, looking towards Glen Fruin and the Clyde. The colours are tending to the golden.

This road actually does ever go onward.
Somewhere along the Yankee Road above Garelochhead. The road is tarmac, brightly lit. The Argyll hills lie in shadow beyond. There is more than a hint of snow in the air.

Not sure stopping short of your destination by 10 miles counts as a minor change, ScotRail. I know there’s a storm on but surely you can plan things better than this.
