Once we finish the fence, the feral cats won't have easy access to the road, and strange men won't be able to sneak up behind me while I'm weeding the vegetable patch. We finished an 8-foot section a few weeks back. Happy wins! And the gate kit just arrived. Soon the garden will be enclosed & safe.

The kitten is teething and having a hard time with it. I tried giving him a frozen pumpkin treat during the summer and he rejected it. The vet’s answer was to “wait and see.” Anyone have any tricks up your sleeves to help him and his siblings through this?

My vet gives a complimentary nail trim if you pay $175 to neuter your cat. Golly, I’m glad I noticed. Purring Monkey would be mad mad mad if I allowed that. Not to mention in danger. He relies on his murder mittens being murdery so he doesn’t fall out of the maple tree.

Is it the prettiest? No. But will it keep the feral cats warm and dry? Absolutely. Theres foam lining the inside of the door to prevent a draft. I was supposed to use that on our home front door…but gave it to the cats instead. I would love to sand and paint and get some actual hooks for the (1/ )

A feral queen cat chose under my shed as the golden place to have her kittens. That was in April. The shelter in my city is overrun and kills 10-15% of animals and I’m not risking that with this wild clowder. But winter is coming so I’ve been building an insulated cat house. It’s nearly complete.

The kitten disagreed that it was bedtime, and tried to bop the pup on the head to instigate play. I caught his paw before it collided. He was so surprised he rolled off the bed. Lesson learned? Probably not.
