😔 Maybe you were being dreamed about 😁

Clearly I’m never in people’s dreams because lord knows I never have any problems sleeping 💤 🤣

I so admire the poor non-English speaking souls doing their best to get a handle on our language! Hell, there are people for whom English is their native tongue that can’t even master it. Not an easy task by any means.

It’s an insidious disease isn’t it. Well done in doing the regular Ice Bucket Challenge 👏 It’s something I’m thinking about running past our CEO for our team to do also.

Tears of joy rolling down my cheeks!! I’ve been hoping for years that one day Neale Daniher would be named Australian of the Year and today it has finally happened. I’ve been an ongoing donor to FightMND for quite some time & I encourage you to donate a few $ too if you can. Go Neale! 👏 ♥️ 🇦🇺

For all you Star Wars fans out there 😊

Sue 🫶 @zootofanthrax.bsky.social · 24/01/2025

… a LONG way off, but no, I’ll keep persevering 😊

It was horrendous! I really should’ve been put in the beginners class not intermediate. Have changed it now though. A waiting list so will be starting again in 3 weeks. I think they thought that because I said I love the water that intermediate would suit. Not to worry, will have another crack 😊

About to head out the door for the very first of my drowning lessons 🩱, lol. Whose bright idea was this? The nerves are taking a real battering. Oh well, I’ll be brave. Might see you later … 😆

You poor poppet Dan. Hope that pain has started to die down now xo

110

Sue 🫶 @zootofanthrax.bsky.social · 23/01/2025

Hopefully it’ll be super quick and nowhere near as painful as it sounds 🤗

Sue 🫶 @zootofanthrax.bsky.social · 23/01/2025

Was just doing some random browsing on one of the well known sale sites and I came across this ad. Am I missing something here … I mean where else would they be for? 😆

Sue 🫶 @zootofanthrax.bsky.social · 23/01/2025

Is the ‘experience’ over with Dan?

100

Sue 🫶 @zootofanthrax.bsky.social · 21/01/2025

😁 And the bright side … … not a pigeon pair of them!

120

Sue 🫶 @zootofanthrax.bsky.social · 21/01/2025

I didn’t know what it was, so looked it up. Owwie! All the best with it Dan 🤗

120

Sue 🫶 @zootofanthrax.bsky.social · 17/01/2025

All the best with it Luis. Hope you’ll be using that wrist again, trouble free, in no time 😊

120

Sue 🫶 @zootofanthrax.bsky.social · 14/01/2025

Where would we be without it hey! 😋

230

Sue 🫶 @zootofanthrax.bsky.social · 14/01/2025

😁 Just put it down to still getting out of holiday mode Andy … I know the feeling all too well myself 😊

130

Sue 🫶 @zootofanthrax.bsky.social · 14/01/2025

🤣 Retirement, and being able to live our last hopefully 25-30 years exactly as we’d like to! 🤗

Sue 🫶 @zootofanthrax.bsky.social · 14/01/2025

I was in leg splints & plaster most of my childhood so I missed the opportunity & then by the time I got to my teens I thought it was too late to learn & would always make excuses why I couldn’t join in at pool parties. I’m so very proud of myself, yet scared at the same time. Never too old hey 😊

Sue 🫶 @zootofanthrax.bsky.social · 14/01/2025

A kindred spirit 🤗 I’m a bit the same. I LOVE the water and I can float and swim in my own weird way lol (I do actually move along although I couldn’t tell you how 😁). I’m really looking forward to the experience knowing that I’ll be with another 3 adults taking that next step. Go for it too Dan! xo

🤣 At least we’re on the homeward stretch, of sorts hey!

First 🏊‍♀️ lesson booked 😱 Friday 24 Jan is d-eve! I wonder if it is actually possible to teach THE most uncoordinated person ever to have walked the earth how to swim 🤔 And treading water, OMG, the fear of god is in me. Fortunately I’ve allocated weekly lesson funds until the end of July!!! 🤣

Sue 🫶 @zootofanthrax.bsky.social · 14/01/2025

I can certainly relate, and I’m nowhere near their age!! 😆

Sue 🫶 @zootofanthrax.bsky.social · 13/01/2025

You’ve just prompted me to add broad beans to this week’s shopping list! Haven’t had them in decades 😀

110

Sue 🫶 @zootofanthrax.bsky.social · 13/01/2025

I’m sure I was (unknowingly), but it scared the bejesus out of me nonetheless. Being on my own at 6 without an adult to have explained what was going on probably didn’t help 😃 They probably did 🤗

010

Sue 🫶 @zootofanthrax.bsky.social · 13/01/2025

Horrid things*!! 🤣 (fallout from being swooped badly as a child - don’t think I could ever like them as a result). I suspect though like all things they do have some redeeming features 😀

110

Sue 🫶 @zootofanthrax.bsky.social · 13/01/2025

Can’t even step on an ant 😂

120

Sue 🫶 @zootofanthrax.bsky.social · 13/01/2025

Did a bit of bingeing myself. I’m really into True Crime and how they solve things, so my show/series of choice was When Missing Turns to Murder on 7+. Not sure what that says about me - maybe I’m a closet psychopath 🤣. Nah, too much of a softy!

120

Sue 🫶 @zootofanthrax.bsky.social · 08/01/2025

Agreed 😀 Now, to find a bloke for another enjoyable past time 🤣

140

Sue 🫶 @zootofanthrax.bsky.social · 08/01/2025

Speaking of weights. I’ve noticed a loss of muscle strength over the last 6 months & have been thinking about what I’d enjoy to start building it back. Drum roll … I’ve decided to enrol in adult learn to swim classes - just waiting on bathers to arrive in post. Love the water but have never learnt 👏

130

Sue 🫶 @zootofanthrax.bsky.social · 08/01/2025

I’m not sure that either of those would constitute a good day for me 😂, but if it makes yours a brill one then I’m all for it!

Sue 🫶 @zootofanthrax.bsky.social · 08/01/2025

I worked with a lady in Hobart who was super into Andre Rieu concerts after having watched a number of them because her aging Mum who once again lived with her was right into them. Haven’t seen any myself but she swore at the time that they’re easy to get drawn into 😊

132

Sue 🫶 @zootofanthrax.bsky.social · 07/01/2025

I still can’t get over how lucky I was to find it! 😊

020

Sue 🫶 @zootofanthrax.bsky.social · 07/01/2025

Yeah possibly but she’s not a fan of being up on work desks, never has been. She’s one strange mog! 😁

020

Sue 🫶 @zootofanthrax.bsky.social · 07/01/2025

Pfft, she’s way too entitled to even consider helping me 😂
