Do I have a type? Most certainly do. Knights, knights, and more knights.

I swear my father gets more irresponsible and stupid with age. I can't even blame it on mental capacities degenerating with age, he is just a stupid manchild used to other people getting him out of trouble and taking care of the consequences of making bad choices because he thinks he's too smart.

This has been the least art productive year I've had in close to 15 years. Work has sucked the soul out of me with OT and some rough micromanaging from the powers above about everything. One month. Since late April it's only been one month we haven't had OT. I'm exhausted in all fronts.

Dayum this article really did not age well...Cosmetics is the last thing OW does better than Rivals. Moreso woth the sorry state of BP and Mythic hero skins. And, well, Rivals literally just made a map for people to just chill in and role play.

"Make sure your face fits the oblong" Dude...it's an Oval. You're speaking to elderly fellows who are already struggling to take a selfie. Don't make it harder for them by using words like oblong instead of oval. And for the love of cookies stop repeating the same thing every other minute.

Handsome fellows I either got for around 10 USD (no, I am not kidding) or for free.

That said my copy of this is lost somewhere in limbo. Not only did this one cost double what the second volume deluxe edition did. The plane this thing is on since the 29th is probably on its 32nd look around the planet or doing loops in the Bermuda Triangle. I really need Chinese friends 😆

The more I see what Hasbro has officially released or is releasing, the more glad I am to have drifted into the 3rd party officially licensed stuff coming from brands like Blockees and Yolopark. I don't really miss or care too much for the transformation part of the figures enough and honestly

Also, this bitch is so pretty and it's probably the last 1/100 kit I'm plotting to get for a while. None of the upcoming models of this line spark my interest so he's likely to be my last 1/100 kit once he comes out.

110

Zombieprowl @zombieprowl.bsky.social · 05/11/2025

Model kits need to not be so pretty that I want to assemble so many. (By model kits I mean absolutely not a single TF one other than the simple small ones from Blockees and Yolopark). The prettier ones tend to be 1/100 scale and by golly room for them is scarse.

100

Zombieprowl @zombieprowl.bsky.social · 04/11/2025

I haven't really talked that much about it because I don't often talk about personal stuff in these spaces but I want to thank everyone for their patience with pending artwork. The last 6 months have been extremelly tough work wise. We lost a co-worker right at a time a flood of work came to us.

120

Zombieprowl @zombieprowl.bsky.social · 31/10/2025

With 3k USD I could get him, his mount, and probably a whole ass custom made personalized display unit and probably would still have 2k to spend elsewhere.

010

Zombieprowl @zombieprowl.bsky.social · 31/10/2025

Man, am I glad I stopped collecting TF figures and merch years ago. Seeing how Hasbro keeps cutting corners on the figures while increasing prices substantially, and now licensing to whoever will ask without properly vetoing the product is wild.

050

Zombieprowl @zombieprowl.bsky.social · 30/10/2025

I like to call him budget Tarn except for thr fact he is waaaaaaay more expensive than Tarn could ever hope to be.

020

Zombieprowl @zombieprowl.bsky.social · 28/10/2025

I more crimes towards Tokusatsu. I don't have any merch at all from Den-O sword form, nothing, zero. Nothing from Kiva, my all time favorite design (granted, anything Kiva is ridiculously expensive). But this dude? I'm on my way to the second figure and possibly a third.

040

Zombieprowl @zombieprowl.bsky.social · 27/10/2025

One of my worst crimes against Tokusatsu is not having at least one figure of Sword Form Kamen Rider Den-O. I don't even like Gears that much and I barely got through Saber but I have one of his LE forms he got for like an episode or two. But I don't have my boy Momotaros.

110

Zombieprowl @zombieprowl.bsky.social · 24/10/2025

If Soundwave were inspired to write a song about unhealthy relationships (totally not looking at Tarn and Starscream there...) I'm convinced this is what he'd come up with.

Zombieprowl @zombieprowl.bsky.social · 14/10/2025

Gotta love when people think Latina/latino is a race. It's not, it's just a 'handy' universal label for people from the Latin American portion of the continent. There are Argentinians whiter and more physically resembling of "white" than most trailer trash at the triple K meetings.

So, since a couple of days ago, the Bluesky app won't load anything either app or desktop through my ISP connection. It works just fine through my mobile's internet but it won't load at all with my ISP. So now I gotta find out why and how to solve it. =_=

In more "Metal Builds that spit on Flame Toys' face"...

011

Zombieprowl @zombieprowl.bsky.social · 06/10/2025

So, this here is Date Masamune. A metal frame/die cast figure that stands at the same height, give or take, as Kuro Kara Kuri Rodimus. This is the 1/100 simplified version of the figure because their regular size is 1/72. Anyway, what does this mean for us? Well... keep reading!

100

Zombieprowl @zombieprowl.bsky.social · 04/10/2025

I have come to the conclusion that Flame Toys aren't worth the price anymore. Their models are subpar in quality compared to much more complex builds from original Chinese brands let alone compared to what Bandai offers. (And Bandai can easily be considered overpriced too these days)

Zombieprowl @zombieprowl.bsky.social · 23/09/2025

I can't imagine a more "white american YT rapper" thing than the need to mansplain a song. One can watch black musicians or producers give a good listen to a song and let the song play and only pause to make some small comments or things they noticed about the song they need to bring up at the time.

Effective immediately, the Mexican postal service has halted delivery of packages to the US temporarily while it works out on clarification and adoption of processes to declare the contents and value of packages going forward. This is a temporary suspencion and service to the US will resume shortly

Zombieprowl @zombieprowl.bsky.social · 27/08/2025

Because Acrylic gouache cannot be reactivated with water once it dries, it works as a good primer of sorts to lay effects on top and also to block areas where I don't care for the watercolor to mix with. I can apply effects on top of it as well to make them pop up more. #zombieprowl #autobotinferno

0165

Zombieprowl @zombieprowl.bsky.social · 26/08/2025

Some concerns people seem to have about shipping of products and merch to the US. For people waiting stuff from me in the US, according to my research in theory nothing should change since original artworks are excempt. Also, since it comes from Mexico, that alone excempts them from import duties.

110

Zombieprowl @zombieprowl.bsky.social · 23/08/2025

Well, it didn't exactly ruin the paper but it won't come out at all anymore so I might actually have to use acrylic gouache to "prime" the surface. I was going to add effects to those areas anyway, so it was likely going to use gouache there anyway.

020

Zombieprowl @zombieprowl.bsky.social · 22/08/2025

Here's hoping forgetting to remove the masking for a couple of months didn't ruin the paper on those edges.
