I feel bad. I blamed my kid for breaking my Switch 1 when she dropped it. She did drop and the case did crack when it hit the ground BUT the rabidly ballooning battery probably had a lot to do with the cracked case. Sigh.

I spent a writing what I am calling Display Guardian. It is a MacOS and Linux service that's sole purpose is to deal with the fact that my TESmart KVM's EDID emulation cannot be turned off AND sucks balls for Mac and Linux. Long story short, monitors would just not wake up sometimes.

I know KVM makers are REALLY proud of the their EDID termination/emulation crap and I acknowledge anything involving cables within 25 feet of me is going be non-standard and probably a trainwreck, but for the love of god make it so the f-ing EDID emulation can be turned off!!!!
