@thomassanders.bsky.social While my latest personal project isn't related at all to Roman, I figured for his bday that he'd still love to see the creative passion I put into it! Long story short, I finished designing a starry-themed ballgown, which I'll also be wearing to an upcoming fantasy ball!

Ballgown front view; key features:

- a black knit fitted high-neck top with princess seams

- a sheer black neck harness with gold chains on the right side of the chest, gold hardware, and an adjustable clip-on back strap; made with chiffon, stiff netting, and gold starry embroidered tulle

- a black pointed underbust corset using satin, canvas, gold starry embroidered tulle, gold hardware, and steel boning

- a black and gold layered overskirt with an adjustable waistband and large side-seam pockets; made with black matte satin, gold starry embroidered tulle, horsehair braid hems, and gold star & moon embroidered trim

- a gold crescent moon belt, purchased from Etsy, worn along the waist with extra chains looped along the ride side of the overskirt

- a black structured petticoat; made using crepe lining, stiff netting, drawstrings, and steel boning hoops; not visible in photo but is worn underneath overskirt for added volume

Tuxedo Sam + Janus? I present to you: Tuxedo Jan! I've been on a Sanrio kick lately from playing HKIA on the switch, and thought it'd be fun for Janus' bday to combine him with a character I think suits him best!
