zim @znaxerers.bsky.social · 10/10/2026Just watched Digger, and ended it thinking it was a real shame my cinema was mostly empty - this movie is so fun and cool - there was like a double fakeout - and I feel like alot went over my head 041
zim @znaxerers.bsky.social · 09/10/2026Hm, should probably have one for business cards too if I can find the right sleeve - there is a cubic pile of them somewhere in my room... 000
zim @znaxerers.bsky.social · 09/10/2026Dumb little thing I've been doing past few days - I bought a couple of empty binders and packs of A4, A5 & A6 loose leaf sleeves to store all my prints & stickers over the years. I feel kinda dumb that I didn't do this much earlier; relaxing past time activity 100
zim @znaxerers.bsky.social · 01/10/2026late post but i went to a convention last weekend and bought things ; mainly went for an artist that was selling In Stars and Time stickers so I could buy the whole set now that I'm not larping 040
zim @znaxerers.bsky.social · 29/09/2026i thought about getting some new headphones since my right ear keeps getting cut out - i wanted to get a different model but after looking, i just got really confused so I ended up getting the same model again 010
zim @znaxerers.bsky.social · 28/09/2026i picked up a new game yesterday - Citizen Sleeper. it's been on my backlog a long time and im glad I feel up to playing it - ive been in a strange mood of just playing games in the deepest pits of my backlog instead of drawing or doing gamedev; i feel unproductive (but not enough to stop) 051
zim @znaxerers.bsky.social · 28/09/2026finished In Stars and Time a few days ago, very fun story & lovable cast - Arc 2-5 had me hooked, 5 was a great payoff; I will say the looping gameplay by the end of Arc 4 was driving me insane, which I guess is how they want you to feel - but I wish it wasn't conveyed at the player's expense 010
zim @znaxerers.bsky.social · 28/09/2026wish I could go to Pixel Art Park - but I don't have any money; maybe the next one (which is what I told myself the last time) 010
zim @znaxerers.bsky.social · 24/09/2026i bought a bell alarm clock 2 weeks ago, it works alot better than using my phone (since I won't start doomscrolling immediately) but i wake up frightened every time and then i have to sit in my chair for a couple minutes with my eyes closed 020
zim @znaxerers.bsky.social · 17/09/2026finally started playing Outer Wilds yesterday for some reason - it is a real treat when my mind is ready to play something I know is gonna be good and i'm having a lot fun... with the piloting surprisingly; I didn't think I would but this might be first spaceship game I enjoy piloting in 010
zim @znaxerers.bsky.social · 15/09/2026what the fuck do you mean SteamDB was acquired by NexusMods - does every good thing eventually turn to shit 020
zim @znaxerers.bsky.social · 15/09/2026writing things is scary, i never realized how insincere i get when i start writing something that might be seen - always fearing writing something i feel that nobody else might. hope i can work on that 000
zim @znaxerers.bsky.social · 09/09/2026Wooo, I got a ticket to watch Mass of The Fermenting Dregs in November - didn't think I'd get it, thought it sold out 010
zim @znaxerers.bsky.social · 04/09/2026I don't know why I felt like posting this - I think I wanted to complain about my books suddenly getting all wiggly again but thought my desk was in a cool state; maybe related to the new books I added messing up the humidity levels - I don't know; the fact I don't know is bugging me 010
zim @znaxerers.bsky.social · 02/09/2026Irrationally pissed off rn - this one Project Hail Mary comic where Rocky gets bummed out that Grace dies and ends with him just sitting on the fake beach, I can't find it anywhere - I wanted to reread it ; I hope I never delete art I make because this feeling sucks 010
zim @znaxerers.bsky.social · 01/09/2026Haul photo from when I went to Animangaki, I considered tagging the artists on my story - but I gave up on that as a method to connect with artists, I just feel like a consumer instead of a potential peer when I do that now 030
zim @znaxerers.bsky.social · 01/09/2026False Memory episode 7 - wow. Wow. What a fucking show. Living to this day was worth it just to watch this show. 000
zim @znaxerers.bsky.social · 30/08/2026deadlock clips on instagram calling me back to the game like the green goblin mask - i ain't gonna do it no matter how goddamn good it looks to play, i don't wanna turn into the goblin 000
zim @znaxerers.bsky.social · 28/08/2026Void Stranger was a fun & awesome single player adventure, it's puzzle adventure though 000
zim @znaxerers.bsky.social · 26/08/2026i was on my knees asking a good friend to help me and we grinded for like 2 hours to get the last 2 achievements - bless him 😭 000
zim @znaxerers.bsky.social · 24/08/2026False Memory EP 6 was beyond words - i'm tearing up and i dont even really know why in the first half, then the 2nd half is just nuts - speechless at how cool it all was 030
zim @znaxerers.bsky.social · 21/08/2026Yup I love TWEWY, it's one of my foundational games!! I never really realised it but I think there was some of that TWEWY DNA in Deadbeat too which is probably one of the many reasons why I liked that game so much haha Also thank you, this reply means alot to me coming from you 🥲 110
zim @znaxerers.bsky.social · 21/08/2026man i actually had so much fun with my game this morning - tweaked the light puck some more; gonna work on adding a teleport swap mechanic with the sword - that's gonna be probably a strong mobility tool & defensive/offensive option and then enemies - not a clue on how to design those 162
zim @znaxerers.bsky.social · 19/08/2026stole the light puck mechanic from TWEWY DS because I noticed testers didn't feel compelled to use the sword and player more effectively when I had some people play it one time 030
zim @znaxerers.bsky.social · 18/08/2026watched false memory EP 5, i teared up a bit so i think the show is starting to ramp up - i really loved Protagonist Halo as a character ; can't wait for EP 6! 010
zim @znaxerers.bsky.social · 15/08/2026My little brother's friends came into my room to play with my cats and one of them said my room was cool, and I'm sad my reaction didn't match up with how ecstatic I felt inside 020
zim @znaxerers.bsky.social · 14/08/2026I'll definitely add his work to the list of books to check out! I think his character designs in Stella Deus (never played it) were really cool so I would probably wanna get STELLA DEUS Character Collection along with his persona books 010
zim @znaxerers.bsky.social · 14/08/2026Yeahhh, you should totally do it too! I've missed seeing your drawings I was already waking up at 4am to have time to do gamedev before work - so now I'm just using some of that time for learning how to draw 020
zim @znaxerers.bsky.social · 12/08/2026also, i was looking ahead at other books/artist sketches to copy (since I only have Yoshinari and Nakamura gengas) and i found these cool collection of genga books called Groundwork from Gainax - i want the diebuster ones 252
zim @znaxerers.bsky.social · 12/08/2026im on day 7 of drawing - i didn't do it this morning because i overslept but i will do it even if im sick so far, ive just been copying sketches from Yoh Yoshinari's sketchbook - im hoping this will make me like drawing for the sake of drawing if i do this everyday for 30 mins 120
zim @znaxerers.bsky.social · 12/08/2026like why did ran deng just let himself die? i guess he got sick of killing BUGs but did he really have to just let it happen? I had the feeling he's had everything planned out way before the show started but it seems he's just dead dead in this episode's ED the bilibili comments had a theory though 010
zim @znaxerers.bsky.social · 12/08/2026watched false memory episode 4, i think alot of it went over my head - i feel like im trying to analyze this show alongside other sources of information so while i watch what's happening on screen, my mind is trying to connect all these pieces - but i still have no clue what's going on 110
zim @znaxerers.bsky.social · 11/08/2026this is the coolest collection of books on a bookshelf ever 010
zim @znaxerers.bsky.social · 06/08/2026day 2 of trying to draw for at least 30 mins a day - and the moment i wake up and have to push myself to do it is the hardest minute lets keep going 130
zim @znaxerers.bsky.social · 06/08/2026Does anybody know how I'm supposed to wash this type of plush - I got it from a secondhand store It's called a おやすみぬいぐるみBIG, if that helps 020
zim @znaxerers.bsky.social · 03/08/2026been trying to draw an auto-attack for sword guy's jab (5A), i was thinking BBCF Naoto's 5AA - but man i suck at drawing so bad, I can't even get the first frame down 010
zim @znaxerers.bsky.social · 03/08/2026so to make myself feel better (convenient excuse), I got the Groundwork of FLCL book reprint and Animation Key Frame Arts Of Yutaka Nakamura VOL.1 which I remember wanting to get back when I went to Japan last year all these artbooks and i still don't really draw, man 130
zim @znaxerers.bsky.social · 03/08/2026past few days haven't been so good - my car got into an accident which sucks, then i puked twice the next day, then i had to deal with some power tripping cop bullshit sorting out my car, and im not sure if my car insurance is gonna come through can't believe im having real life problems 000
zim @znaxerers.bsky.social · 02/08/2026watched the first 3 episodes of False Memory, episode 1 writing-wise didn't feel as deep but by episode 3 things are starting to get interesting ; though all around, wonderful animation throughout - total cut above what's coming out right now. i see alot of the creators' personal tastes - im charmed 010
zim @znaxerers.bsky.social · 02/08/2026ok, i guess bilibili tv and bilibili com are two separate sites that both have False Memory - but the one on TV does not have subs and the one on COM does, and I can't even pay for premium on that one 000
zim @znaxerers.bsky.social · 02/08/2026just paid for a bilibili premium membership just so I could watch False Memory on 1080p and they don't have any subs - where they at 100
zim @znaxerers.bsky.social · 30/07/2026tip of my nose was itchy all night and couldn't figure out why turns out there was a giant nose hair rubbin it the whole time 000
zim @znaxerers.bsky.social · 30/07/2026found this chiptune album, Frosty Frolic by Robotprins, this morning and man this is so fire music.youtube.com/playlist?lis...music.youtube.comFrosty FrolicAlbum • Robotprins 000
zim @znaxerers.bsky.social · 29/07/2026wanted to look into doing the floor/wall bounce thing that Slave Zero X does - but just realized i haven't been implementing hitstun properly so gonna have to work on that ; no floating sword guy video today -_- 000
zim @znaxerers.bsky.social · 28/07/2026Was thinking on the car ride back home, I'm gonna try to stop describing games with the phrase "like [other game]" to people, felt it too reductive - even if I do feel that way 001
