Big WVU fan here. Fuck Pitt, I hate them. But going after the university in this aspect is an abomination. I’ve been in those hospitals. My family has been in those hospitals. They do an incredible job, and they excel compared to most of America. This will undoubtedly worsen our healthcare.

Hi there, I live near Joe Manchin’s hometown. This isn’t true. He saw the writing on the wall and bolted. Lots of rumors here about him being appointed as the President of WVU, but that obviously didn’t happen. But running him out? Nah, he just retired because he didn’t have confidence in winning.

In 2018, President Trump stood in the Oval Office and said that people seeking asylum should “do it the legal way” by coming here without crossing a border illegally. Now his admin is set to punish people who did exactly that; came on a visa and then applied for asylum.

Unless challenged or revised, the State Department is expected to announce in the coming weeks the revocation of so-called B1 and B2 visas issued between 2016 and 2026 whose holders have sought asylum or are now seeking asylum, according to State Department documents obtained by The Associated Press and two U.S. officials. The action will be taken in coordination with the Department of Homeland Security.
