Aunque el libro no es perfecto (no hay mujeres, que también se puedan transformar y al principio es algo lento y se va por las ramas) la verdad es que la intriga de que va a suceder y los constantes giros te mantienen enganchado. 5/6

Over all I'll give it a 7.5/10 If you want a horror, spooky, fiasco. This is the story for you. Trigger warnings: Sexual content. Gore. Bad words. SA. (And waaaaaay too many bad choices by the main character XD)

Not in the derogatory sense but in a story that comes crashing down by the decisions of the characters and are usually many casualties because of it. Would I recommend it? Maybe. It was not my cup of tea but it is very well written and it's a compelling story 5/6

Until it isnt. Everything comes crashing down when he and (spoiler) have an encounter with a werewolf. Following some bad decision making everything comes crashing down and gets more morally and legaly complicated. I would catalogue this story as a literary genere of Fiasco 4/6

I recently read My pet werewolf by James Kaine. First of all... Hooooly cow. What a ride. This was not what I was expecting at all. At first it seems that this is going to be some kind of drama or maybe a dark comedy. The writing, particularly at the begining is fantastic... 1/6

oh no. There are some werewolf women on the books. But the ratio of men to women are 10:1, and most don't play important roles. I wish it was more even. Particularly because there are some characters that could have been women and the plot wouldn't change

2.- some characters have a very foul mouth. Though very creative in the profanity 3.- I wish more characters were women. There are some but most are men and the more important roles are relegated to them. But over all: If you like thrillers and if you like werewolves... 4/5

Plot that adds a bit more intrigue to it and consecuences are felt throughout the sequels. It is an interesting take on lycanthropy and the werewolf society feels believable. I do recommend them but with some warnings: 1.- the books are very graphic and gory 3/5

Though the plot for each book is as dense as the plot from the movie "taken". The books are hard to put down. You are always wondering what new scene or fight or set piece is going to come next. And no one feels particulary safe from danger The books do have an overarching... 2/5

Recently I read the "Breeds" series by Keith C. Blackmore. Here is my brief review: All of the books (currently 4) on this series are thrillers. Almost all main characters are werewolves. Most are the type that change to full big wolf form. But there are some exceptions. 1/5
